Nurse Practitioner

Lindsey McCloskey is a Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Scudday at the Orthopedic Specialty Institute. Lindsey works directly with Dr. Scudday in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hip and knee replacements, fractures of the upper and lower extremities, and arthritis of the hip and knee. She has privileges at Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Main Street Specialty Surgery Center, and St. Joseph Hospital of Orange and assists Dr. Scudday in the operating room.

Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree from University at Albany, State University of New York while playing Division 1 volleyball. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University graduating Magna Cum Laude, RN First Assist from University of California, Los Angeles, and Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Long Beach.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Lindsey worked with Dr. Scudday at Hoag Orthopedic Institute as an operating room nurse and RN First Assistant.

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling and being active through a variety of outdoor activities including beach volleyball, golf, biking, and snowboarding.
